Job Description

Our client, a chemical manufacturer within the Cincinnati area, is seeking a Chemical Production Manager to join their team. As a Chemical Production Manager, you will be part of the Site Leadership Team supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
$140,000 - $150,000 + 15% Bonus Accountable for a large team spanning 4 shifts. Current shifts are 12 hours on a 2-2-3 schedule working 24/7 with personnel working 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and 7:00pm-7:30AM. Must be flexible to support all hours of operations and available to make decisions and direct resources. What's the Job? Lead and manage a diverse team of approximately 70+ personnel across multiple departments including flaking, pastillation, production, and packaging. Set strategic direction to achieve site objectives related to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and housekeeping. Drive a culture of compliance, ownership, and continuous improvement through structured problem-solving and operational excellence tools. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Participate in and facilitate strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to support operational goals. What's Needed?
