Job Description

Plant Manager Lancaster, OH 43130 $130,000 - $150,000 a year $130,000 - $150,000 a year Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to assist in overseeing plant operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting overall business performance. This position partners closely with the General Manager to ensure operational excellence in safety, quality, productivity, cost management, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Support the overall management and direction of plant operations Lead and develop production and management teams Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards (IATF/ISO/OSHA) Monitor operational performance, financial results, and key performance metrics Foster positive employee relations and a culture of accountability and teamwork Partner with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives Support budgeting, cost reduction, quality improvement, and strategic planning efforts Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 10+ years of automotive manufacturing experience Proven leadership experience in a plant operations environment Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Cost of Quality, and problem-solving methodologies Experience with Mafact audits and automotive quality systems Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills This is an excellent opportunity for a proven manufacturing leader looking to make a significant impact within a fast-paced automotive environment.
