Plant Manager - Ready Mix

Ready Mix Plant Manager We are an American owned and family operated ready mix company which services over 6 counties in Central Ohio. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Ready Mix Plant Manager to oversee daily plant operations and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily operations of the ready-mix concrete plant Supervise plant employees and coordinate daily workloads Ensure efficient production and timely delivery of concrete products Monitor inventory levels of raw materials including cement, aggregates, admixtures, and other plant supplies Coordinate maintenance and repairs for plant equipment and loaders Maintain compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout production operations Communicate with dispatch, drivers, mechanics, and management regarding operational needs Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions as needed Maintain production records, inventory reports, and other required documentation Train and support plant personnel to maintain productivity and safety standards Assist with scheduling and workforce planning as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Previous ready-mix concrete industry experience required Previous supervisory or management experience preferred Strong knowledge of plant operations, equipment, and safety procedures Ability to lead and motivate employees in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills required Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed High school diploma or GED required Job Type Full-time Benefits 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Referral program Free uniforms Schedule Day shift Monday through Friday Overtime as needed Weekend availability as needed
