We specialize in overhaul and repair of aircraft components for the military and commercial aircraft. Job Summary:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager, based in Del City, OK. The Production Manager will oversee daily operations of the production department including repair and manufacturing, ensuring schedules are met and quality standards are upheld. Responsibilities include workflow management, team supervision, performance evaluation, inventory control, and implementing process improvements. The manager will also ensure workplace safety, compliance with industry regulations, and collaboration with other departments to meet organizational goals.Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments. Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data. Maintains due dates and runs production based on KPI's. Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects. Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills. Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment. Ensure all work is done correctly to the technical manuals Read and interpret repair manuals Conduct process improvement events and implement best practices Maintains proper documentation of all work activities and maintains a clean and organized work station Observes Company safety rules, regulations and consistently practices good housekeeping. Reports or corrects any unsafe conditions and practices Communicates effectively with supervisors, peers and others Is self-motivated and reliable Completes other duties as assigned Qualifications Proficiency in production planning, workflow optimization, and scheduling. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in supervising staff. Knowledge of quality control processes, and safety standards. Familiarity with inventory management Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements based upon KPI's Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industries is highly desirable 3+ years production management experience Supervisory experience with 10+ people Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Education and Experience:
Associates degree in related field, or equivalent industry work experience required; Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. At least three years of supervisory experience highly preferred. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations. Must have manufacturing experience.Physical Requirements:
