Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilizationLead and manage production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellenceMonitor and analyze production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actionsCollaborate with supply chain and quality control departments to ensure smooth operations and product qualityOversee equipment maintenance and upgrades to minimize downtime and maximize productivityEnsure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in the production environmentImplement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiencyDevelop and manage production budgets, controlling costs while meeting production targetsCoordinate with other departments to align production goals with overall business objectives
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Associate's degree or 10+ years of experience working in manufacturing environments3+ years of production supervision experience or a related role leading in a team environment5+ years of combined factory experience in Manufacturing (operations), Quality, Engineering, or Production PlanningExperience leading cross-functional teamsStrong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and quality control managementProficiency in lean manufacturing principles and their practical applicationExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and act on performance metricsStrong understanding of supply chain management and its impact on productionIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry-specific regulationsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to make decisive decisions and drive process improvementsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience with coil manufacturing and robotic paint application in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is preferredSix Sigma certification or experience with other continuous improvement methodologiesExperience in safety management and OSHA complianceProven track record in budget management and cost controlAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans
