This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure performance goals are achieved while driving continuous improvement, optimizing resources, and maintaining a high‑performance culture. The Plant Manager is accountable for plant financial performance, operational excellence, and the development of strong leadership within the facility. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all plant operations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, cost, and customer objectives. Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational targets are achieved on time and within budget. Develop and execute capital investment plans, ensuring projects deliver expected return on investment. Drive structured problem‑solving initiatives, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Ensure robust systems, processes, and training programs are in place to support operational success. Implement and sustain preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability. Promote and maintain lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, standard work, and visual management. Optimize production performance by improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), labor efficiency, and material utilization. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to direct reports and plant leadership teams. Oversee workforce planning, including hiring, training, performance management, and employee relations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and shop floor engagement. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment. At least 4-5 years of leadership or management experience with demonstrated advancement in responsibility. Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills. Ability to analyze financial and operational data, including P&L statements. Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing tools such as Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, standard work, and root cause methodologies (e.g., 8D). Working knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and maintenance methodologies such as reliability‑centered maintenance. Proven ability to manage capital projects and drive operational improvements. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
