Key Personnel is seeking a Plant Manager for a manufacturing facility.
Plant Manager Pay Rate:
$115,000•$120,000/year (based on experience) Plant Manager Hours:
Monday•Thursday, 6:00 AM•4:30 PM (additional hours and weekends as needed) Plant Manager Job Summary:
The Plant Manager is responsible for directing and managing all manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency, quality standards, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees plant performance, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates cross-functionally to meet organizational goals. Plant Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production schedules and performance goals are met Supervise and manage foremen to ensure adherence to operational and quality standards Develop and implement long-term operational strategies to support business objectives Analyze manufacturing processes to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences Provide leadership, training, and development to production teams Manage all aspects of employee relations including hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement Collaborate with Fabrication and Assembly leadership to support workforce needs Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards Establish and monitor safety goals and performance metrics Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements Partner with engineering, quality, sales, HR, and accounting to optimize plant performance Communicate with executive leadership on operational performance, forecasts, and key initiatives Serve as a liaison with vendors, customers, and external partners as needed Plant Manager Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a plant or production management role 4-8 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proven ability to drive operational improvements and manage performance metrics Strong organizational skills and business acumen Work Environment:
Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment Exposure to loud noise, dust, and metal particles Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear Physical Requirements:
Prolonged standing and walking throughout the facility Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and climb ladders Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Visual acuity including close, distance, and peripheral vision Minimal travel required This role includes safety-sensitive job duties Key Personnel Benefits:
