The Manufacturing Project Manager will also play a key role in factory setup, production line launch, and contract manufacturing project development from concept to mass production.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution:
Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, milestones, and resource plans. Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, production, logistics, and quality teams. Lead project execution from initial concept, planning, facility setup, equipment installation, pilot run, to mass production.
Factory Setup & Manufacturing Launch:
Support new factory setup, production line establishment, and manufacturing ramp-up activities. Coordinate layout planning, equipment installation, utility preparation, and production readiness activities. Manage project timelines related to factory construction, commissioning, and SOP (Start of Production).
Cross-functional Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of coordination among internal teams, suppliers, and customers regarding project schedules, deliverables, and issue resolution. Track project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Drive alignment between stakeholders to ensure project objectives and deliverables are achieved.
Risk & Issue Management:
Identify project risks, production bottlenecks, scheduling conflicts, and resource constraints that may impact project execution. Develop mitigation and recovery plans to minimize project impact. Monitor critical path activities and proactively resolve issues.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare project status reports and meeting summaries. Track action items, escalate critical issues, and ensure timely resolution of open items. Maintain project documentation and change management records.
Process Improvement:
Improve project execution processes and workflow efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives during project implementation. Establish standardized project management practices and reporting structures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field 3-5 years of project management experience in manufacturing or engineering environment Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with ERP/MES systems and production line projects preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Hands-on experience in factory setup, production line installation, or manufacturing site expansion projects is required Must have end-to-end experience managing a contract manufacturing (OEM/ODM) project from initial planning through mass production launch PMP certification or equivalent project management experience is a plus
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
