Job Description

Job Description The Production Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role coordinates cross-functional activities, optimizes production workflows, maintains quality standards, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer expectations. This is a full-time, on-site position. The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, manage production schedules, monitor inventory and material availability, ensure product quality, and lead production teams to achieve operational objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations and production activities. Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery requirements. Lead, mentor, and support production personnel to achieve performance goals. Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure efficient operations. Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support uninterrupted production. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience in plant production management in a high mix low volume environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to analyze and interpret production data Familiarity with safety regulations and practices Six sigma certification Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
