Job Description

Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations in the transducer manufacturing environment. This includes procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and supplier management to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components and finished products. The role requires a strong understanding of electronics manufacturing, demand forecasting, and cost control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
SUPPLY CHAIN STRATEGY AND PLANNING
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives Lead demand forecasting & procurement, assist production planning, and production capacity planning Ensure alignment between sales forecasts, inventory deliveries and stock, and manufacturing schedules
PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
Source and manage existing suppliers for raw materials (e.g., piezoelectric elements, metals, electronic components) Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements Mitigate supply risks
INVENTORY AND MATERIALS MANAGEMENT
Maintain optimal inventory levels Implement inventory control systems (MRP/ERP) Reduce excess and obsolete inventory
PRODUCTION SUPPORT
Collaborate with engineering and production teams Support new product introductions (NPI) Resolve material shortages and bottlenecks
LOGISTICS AND DISTRIBUTION
Oversee inbound and outbound global and domestic logistics Optimize transportation costs Ensure compliance with shipping regulations
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Drive cost reduction initiatives Implement lean practices Utilize data analytics
TEAM LEADERSHIP
Lead and develop supply chain and logistics operations staff Set performance goals and evaluations Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, or related field
EXPERIENCE
5-10+ years in supply chain, preferably in electronics manufacturing ERP/MRP system experience required Transducer Industry a major plus
