Plant Manager

Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity | Competitive Compensation We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Plant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations at our Erie, PA facility. This position is ideal for an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is willing to work directly alongside employees to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and production goals are met. The Plant Manager will oversee production operations, workforce leadership, scheduling, quality control, maintenance coordination, and continuous process improvement while maintaining a strong presence on the production floor. Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee daily plant operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer deadlines are achieved Lead by example with a hands-on management style and active involvement in day-to-day operations Supervise, train, and support production employees, leads, and supervisors Monitor workflow, staffing levels, machine utilization, and production efficiency Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations Coordinate preventative maintenance and work closely with maintenance personnel to minimize downtime Analyze production metrics and operational performance to drive continuous improvement Manage inventory levels, material flow, and operational resources Assist with troubleshooting production issues, equipment concerns, and quality challenges Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and performance Work closely with ownership and management to support company growth and operational goals Qualifications Previous experience in a Plant Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager, or similar manufacturing leadership role Strong hands-on mechanical and operational aptitude Experience managing employees in a manufacturing or industrial environment Ability to motivate teams and maintain production accountability Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Experience with production scheduling, quality systems, and manufacturing processes Ability to work both in an office setting and directly on the production floor Proficiency with basic computer systems, reporting, and production tracking Preferred Experience Plastics, polymer, extrusion, recycling, or industrial manufacturing experience preferred Experience implementing lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives is a plus Maintenance or equipment troubleshooting background beneficial Benefits May Include Competitive salary based on experience Health benefits Paid time off Opportunities for advancement and long-term growth Stable, team-oriented work environment

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
