We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Plant Manager - Chemicals to lead our manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant production, ensure safety compliance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and optimize manufacturing processes. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining high-quality standards while enhancing operational efficiency and supply chain management. Responsibilities Lead and manage all plant operations including production planning, manufacturing, assembly, quality control, and maintenance activities. Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to maximize productivity and reduce waste. Oversee the use of ERP systems such as SAP and MRP tools to coordinate production schedules and inventory management. Monitor supply chain analytics and manage supply chain processes to ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials. Drive safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental regulations across all plant activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations management strategies and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment and oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Experience Proven experience in production management within the chemical manufacturing industry or related sectors. Strong understanding of ERP systems like SAP or similar enterprise resource planning tools. Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement, and quality control standards. Demonstrated ability to lead plant management teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence. Knowledge of supply chain management, manufacturing processes, assembly operations, and mechanical systems. Excellent skills in production planning, supply chain analytics, and operations management to meet business objectives efficiently.
