Yes Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planner to support a Manufacturing Execution System Common Image ( MESci ) manufacturing planning rewrite within the organization . This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop, standardize, and implement robust manufacturing plans that support business objectives, delivery commitments, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Material (BOMs), work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configurations. Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies aligned with business goals. Integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Review and approve supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements. Define tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering needs. Manage tools throughout the lifecycle, from initial design through end-of-use disposition. Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues and constraints. Perform producibility assessments for part and product designs. Provide producibility input into design decisions, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets. Develop integrated work statements and event sequencing to support delivery commitments. Draft, update, and review processes and procedures in support of business objectives and regulatory agency requirements. Work under general direction with moderate oversight. Basic Qualifications (Required) 5 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Examples:
PhD with 4+ years related experience Master's degree with 7+ years related experience Proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Material (BOMs), and work instructions. Preferred Qualifications (Desired) Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers. Experience with 3D model-based work instructions. Experience using one or more of the following tools or systems: Siemens
NX, IVT, CREO, CATIA
MES, MESci (Manufacturing Execution System - Common Image) Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, Vis
VSA, DELMIA
Experience reviewing and approving other engineers' work, including: Installation plans Tool orders Line stock checks and related manufacturing documentation.
