Plant Manager (OOJ - 44186) NPAworldwide Recruitment Network update Last updated: Mar/31/2026 Job Description Plant Manager Privately held precision machining manufacturer (~70 employees; ~$40M revenue) supporting aerospace and space customers with complex, tight-tolerance components. Hands-on Plant Manager to lead all manufacturing operations. Full ownership of production, planning, maintenance, quality, safety, and continuous improvement Responsibilities Lead daily operations across a ~70-person machining facility Manage production, scheduling, maintenance, quality, and safety Drive KPIs including OEE, throughput, quality, and on-time delivery Implement Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives Partner with leadership on capacity planning, capex, and workforce planning Identify bottlenecks and drive data-based improvements Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100, ISO) Support hiring, training, and performance management
Qualifications:
Qualifications 7+ years manufacturing leadership, including 3+ years plant or operations leadership Precision machining required; aerospace & aviation required or similar Must have led teams of 40+ people High-mix, low-volume experience Strong Lean, planning, and quality systems knowledge ERP experience preferred Why is This a
