This inspired the company to develop a safer alternative and laid the foundation for decades of innovation. As market demands evolved, Setterstix became a pioneer in the transition from wooden to paper sticks during the 1950s, helping introduce safer, more hygienic, and environmentally friendly solutions to the industry. Today, Setterstix is one of the world's leading manufacturers of paper sticks, serving a wide range of industries including confectionery, pharmaceutical, medical, personal care, and agriculture. In 2008, Setterstix was acquired by the GESCO Group, a Germany-based industrial holding company, further expanding our global capabilities and reach adding operations in Germany and Mexico, strengthening our ability to serve customers worldwide with consistent quality, innovation, and supply reliability.
