Plant Manager

Job Summary Raycap is seeking an experienced and dedicated Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of plant management and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee 6 direct reports and 300 plant employees with 2 shifts on production and one shift on assembly. Strategic management of the production, quality, shipping, receiving, inventory, and facility management functions Coordination of product manufacturing with Greece and US Production Managers Implementation of lean manufacturing practices, efficiency measures Development of manufacturing reporting and analyses systems Resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum cost and operational delays Coordination and oversight with non-US facilities to develop operational and production processes to produce economies of scale Implementation of productivity/quality metrics designed to minimize costs and enhance efficiency; develop and revise standard operational and working practices to maximize efficiency OSHA compliance Improvement of quality by researching best practices and identifying new/needed skills, processes, or methods. Regular adherence to performance of applicable procedures in the Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety standards (OHSAS); ensuring processes remain sustainable, suitable and effective in relation to position Continuous assessment of opportunities for improvement and any needed changes to management systems Embrace and support the 5 Core Values of Customer Focus, Talent, Excellence, Innovation and Integrity Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and endure duties of high-quality standards Assists other duties as assigned

Requirements:

7 to 15 years of progressive operational, analytical and managerial experience Relevant industry experience desirable Familiarity with manufacturing standards, Fabricating, Machine Shop and, welding as well as some hands-on experience preferred Bachelors degree in engineering, or relatable degree Proven track record in the management of company operations, finance, and quality assurance

$180,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
