Job Description:
•Specific company information will be shared with qualified candidates. This plant is part of a multi-billion dollar privately owned company based in the United States. The plant is located in Alleyton, Texas. Hands-o n Plant Manage r position that plans, coordinates and is responsible for the production, quality, maintenance, and safety aspects of a manufacturing plant in the masonry/hardscapes industry. The work environment will consist of both an office setting and manufacturing plant setting.
Requirements:
5+ yrs. experience in Plant Management or Operations Management Hands-On Management Style with strong interpersonal skills and ability to obtain results through others Electrical, Hydraulic, and Mechanical aptitude is essential. Bachelor's Degree preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Essential Duties:
Directs day-to-day plant operations for 10 to 15 employees. Assists in managing operational costs. Follows safety regulations and ensures the staff adheres to applicable rules and regulations. Reviews production reports on inventory levels, safety, and costs. Participate in assessments for identifying and quantifying improvements in safety, productivity, inventory management, and planning. Manage capital projects including planning and analysis, ordering and scheduling. Detects and resolves production, equipment maintenance, safety, and personnel issues. Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates, rewards and disciplines employees. Communicates frequently with peers and direct supervisors on operational matters. Coordinates the maintenance of plant equipment, including preventative maintenance programs. Oversee the purchasing, delivery, secure storage and use of supplies. Ensures the security of Company property and equipment. Complies with all State and Federal regulations. What the
