Job Description
Portable Ready Mix Plant Manager - South Austin Lead our ready-mix operations with a focus on safety, performance, and team culture . This hands-on role oversees plant operations, dispatch, and production to deliver on-time service, high uptime, and zero defects . Key Responsibilities Lead and develop drivers, plant staff, and dispatch teams Drive safety compliance, daily "Take 5" meetings, and inspections Manage batching, production, inventory, and fleet coordination Monitor KPIs, control costs, and improve plant performance Ensure equipment reliability, maintenance, and 5S standards Maintain quality standards and partner with QC on mix designs Collaborate with Sales & Customer Service to deliver strong customer experience Qualifications 3-5+ years ready-mix experience Proven leadership in fast-paced operations Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience with dispatch/logistics and workforce supervision (union a plus) Tech-savvy and mechanically inclined Why Join Us High-impact leadership role Strong growth potential Industry-leading safety and performance culture About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
