Manufacturing Shop Manager Caliberr Staffing Conroe, TX 77301 $28.50 - $38.50 an hour - Full-time $28.50 - $38.50 an hour - Full-time Role Summary We are looking for a proactive and skilled Manufacturing Shop Manager to direct our Conroe, TX, 77301 facility. You will be tasked with driving operational success, optimizing production output, and cultivating an encouraging workplace culture. We invite candidates with a strong background in manufacturing and proven leadership capabilities to apply. Core Duties Oversee the facility's daily activities to guarantee that production targets are consistently achieved. Cultivate a high-performing team by mentoring staff and championing a culture focused on safety and ongoing development. Adjust resource allocation as needed to ensure all production timelines are strictly followed. Uphold product excellence by establishing and strictly monitoring quality assurance protocols. Work cross-functionally with other teams to refine workflows and boost organizational productivity. Oversee material procurement and maintain optimal inventory levels. Support professional growth by conducting routine performance reviews and offering actionable feedback. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by enforcing all safety protocols and company guidelines. Evaluate production metrics to generate comprehensive reports for executive leadership. Required Qualifications A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline is preferred. At least five years of manufacturing experience, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity. Demonstrate strong leadership by motivating and guiding a diverse workforce. Utilize sharp problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail to overcome operational challenges. Competency in Microsoft Office and specialized manufacturing software. Effective interpersonal and communication abilities. Deep understanding of industry-standard quality control processes and safety regulations. Proven capacity to thrive in a high-speed environment while managing shifting priorities.
