Develop manufacturing operating plans that deliver operating excellence in accordance with company policies, goals and objectives. Link established processes and leadership execution in the areas of Environmental Health and Safety, keeping with the companys legacy of attention to safety, the environment, and the communities in which it exists. Lead development of quality strategies that drive process stability, quality assurance and process standardization with associated controls and feedback. Ensure that robust people development and capable succession plans are in place. Achieve results through the engagement of the entire team and strong customer and supplier partnerships.Job Requirements:
Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or as Plant Manager, Corporate Manager, Enterprise Performance Improvement Leader, General Manager, or related. Full term of experience must include each of the following: Levers for cost control and cost savings; Application of lean manufacturing principles; Computer skills in JD Edwards, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; Manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures; Push methodology for Fabrication Scheduling; Working with subcontractors in the B&C Market; MRP methodology for Inventory management; Financial Analysis and Forecasting; Finance and Accounting including working with budgets and income statements; and Preventive Maintenance practices.
