This position is the right hand to the Plant Manager and is responsible for opening and closing the plant, supervising staff, maintaining production flow, ensuring quality standards, and helping the plant operate efficiently each day. Schedule 1
Monday-Friday:
5:30 AM - approximately 3:00 PM 2
Saturday:
5:30 AM - approximately 1:30 PM Responsibilities 1 Assist the Plant Manager in all aspects of daily plant operations. 2 Open and close the facility. 3 Supervise production staff and maintain accountability. 4 Ensure garments move efficiently through production. 5 Monitor quality standards and minimize redoes. 6 Identify and resolve production bottlenecks. 7 Train, coach, and develop plant employees. 8 Assist with equipment monitoring and maintenance coordination. 9 Serve as Manager on Duty when the Plant Manager is absent. Qualifications 1 Minimum 5 years of dry cleaning plant experience. 2 Strong technical knowledge of garment care, stain removal, spotting, cleaning, pressing, and finishing. 3 Previous supervisory or leadership experience. 4 Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 5 Dependable, punctual, and able to lead by example. 6 Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
