The Senior Business Developer - Flow Control owns the mission of building and converting relationships into a repeatable, profitable stream for our flow control line of business. This is a front-end loaded, project capture role. You will engage early in the project lifecycle, influence valve package strategy, coordinate internal technical and supply chain resources, and drive close rates on capital projects. Success requires strong commercial instincts, technical credibility, and the ability to navigate complex Partner, EPC and Project Client environments. How you'll make an impact: Focus on Prefeed and FEED opportunities Establish relationships important to project pursuit specific to flow control Demonstrate a command of AWC technology partner capabilities and a clear strategy to fill gaps in project needs Work to influence valve philosophies and package composition within the project to create a winning environment Have detailed understanding of project specifications and know what good looks like Work directly with project clients and EPC's to map the influence and decision points Communicate pipelines gaps and next steps to all stakeholders
AWC's:
Project Team, Partners, and Account Managers Create a pursuit strategy aligned with the project drivers and partner capabilities that is clearly defined and can be easily deployed within internal project teams Work to focus on project scopes and or market verticals where these strategies can be maximized for repeated success Identify opportunities and strategies to pull through Field Instrumentation and Pressure Management scopes in packaged solutionsAWC's:
Project Team, Partners, and Account Managers Skills you'll need: 8 + Years in flow control / valve automation sales, business development, or project capture Proven experience working with EPCs on capital projects Strong working knowledge: Valve Mechanics, Valve Automation, and Valve Application (flow control, on/off, process/personal safety) Demonstrated ability to navigate multi-stakeholder decisions from the Site, Client to the EPC Solid commercial acumen and deal progression capability The ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and execute Here's what will set you apart: Clear understanding of EPC project drivers. Technical experience with flow control in the process industry Clear vision and urgency surrounding actions associated with completion of qualification through value definition and pursuit execution.The Rewards:
