Job Description

As a Lean Manager, you will work together with our partners in operational and administrative areas to shape the path to operational excellence. You will be a key driver in advancing the Lean mindset at MTU. You will support MTU's operational and administrative functions with pragmatic, audience-appropriate concepts and methods—from identifying improvement potential through achieving their improvement goals. Implement MTU Shop floor and office management in close collaboration with MTU's German Lean teams Lead continuous improvement initiatives across operational and administrative teams, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall business performance. Deliver training, coaching, and hands-on facilitation in Lean leadership, process optimization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement tools. Present insights, progress, and recommendations to senior leaders and executive stakeholders, using data to influence decisions and drive alignment. Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to redesign processes, eliminate non-value-added activities, and embed sustainable ways of working. Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, industrial engineering and management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a strong track record in change management, project management, and continuous improvement. Proven experience in Shopfloor Management and KPI Cascading Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, process redesign, and operational excellence methodologies; PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma Belt preferred. Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training sessions and workshops. Core Competencies Advanced communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities. A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong partnerships across teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, along with the presence and credibility to influence decisions at all levels of the organization. Coaching certification or train-the-trainer credentials are preferred. German language proficiency is a plus.
