Job Description:
Lean Manager - New Plant Launch We are seeking an experienced Lean Manager to help build and scale a brand-new manufacturing plant for a growing organization. In this high-impact role, you will partner with operational and administrative teams to establish a culture of continuous improvement and drive the path to operational excellence from the ground up. What you'll do Lead continuous improvement initiatives across shop floor and office environments, from identifying opportunities through implementation and long-term sustainability. Implement and sustain shop floor and office management practices in close collaboration with global and local Lean teams. Deliver training, coaching, and hands-on facilitation in Lean leadership, process optimization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement tools. Use data and KPIs to track performance, present insights, and influence decisions with senior leaders and key stakeholders. Partner with cross-functional teams to redesign processes, eliminate non-value-added activities, and embed standardized, scalable ways of working as the plant grows. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, industrial engineering and management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment leading change, projects, and continuous improvement, ideally in a manufacturing or plant setting. Proven experience with shop floor management and KPI cascading. Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, process redesign, and operational excellence; PMP or Lean Six Sigma Belt preferred. Demonstrated ability to design and deliver impactful training sessions and workshops. Key skills and attributes Advanced communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Collaborative, hands-on leadership style, with the ability to build strong partnerships across functions and levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, with the presence to influence decisions at all levels of the organization. Coaching or train-the-trainer credentials are a plus. German language skills are a plus but not required.
