40.0 Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years of HR experience, in manufacturing or industrial environments Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Experience supporting hourly and salaried workforces Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office PHR/SPHR or
SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
certification preferred Ability to work on-site in an industrial environment, including walking the floor and using steel-toed boots Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must Responsibilities Oversee all HR functions within the manufacturing facility, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, compensation, benefits, and workforce planning. Partner with plant leadership to support operational goals and maintain a productive workforce. Develop and execute hiring strategies for plant operations, maintenance, engineering, and support staff. Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation. Serve as a trusted advisor to supervisors and employees on HR matters, investigating complaints and promoting workplace culture. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations including OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and wage/hour requirements. Administer performance appraisal processes and support talent development initiatives. Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs, including safety training and leadership development. Administer compensation programs and employee benefits, participate in salary benchmarking, and support payroll and HRIS management. Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, hiring efficiency, and engagement, preparing reports for plant leadership.
