Finance Manager - Manufacturing | Jasper, TX, USA | In-Office

We are partnered with a well-established sawmill manufacturing firm in Eastern Texas. They recently acquired a major investment in their firm, and are looking to bring on a Finance Manager to their team in Pineland, TX. This person will serve as a strategic partner and critical in driving financial performance, supporting operational decision-making, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the mill.

Pineland, Texas We are seeking a Finance Manager to serve as a strategic partner to manufacturing leadership within a lumber operation. This role is critical in driving financial performance, supporting operational decision-making, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the mill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with mill leadership to provide financial insight, analytics, and decision support
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost management activities
• Analyze production, operational, and cost data to identify efficiency and performance opportunities
• Develop financial models and business cases for capital investments and strategic initiatives
• Support improvements to financial processes, reporting, and systems

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Strategy, or a related field
• Finance experience in a manufacturing environment; lumber or wood products experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and analysis
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and ERP systems such as SAP
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and drive transformation within manufacturing operations This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to influence across operations.
