Onsite Overview System One is in search of a Production Manager for a privately held compan y to join their team in Longview, TX. This position is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Lead and supervise production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets. Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to ensure timely delivery. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and improve product quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance performance and engagement. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership. Manage labor, materials, and equipment to optimize efficiency and reduce waste. Support new product introductions and process changes on the production floor. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong knowledge of systems, manufacturing processes, and production planning. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Experience in mechanical/electrical manufacturing industries (preferred). Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management (e.g., PMP) (preferred). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus (preferred). Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 40 lbs, and move between office and manufacturing areas. Adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements. This position operates in both office and manufacturing environments, with exposure to seasonal temperatures, noise, dust, and industrial equipment. Flexibility in working hours may be required.
