This position is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and quality of the production process, managing team performance, and adhering to safety standards. A Floor Manager must have the ability to lead by example, keen attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are integral to maintaining seamless operations and meeting production targets consistently.

Key Responsibilities Duties:

Assist with production schedules to meet deadlines. Direct daily operations to ensure high productivity. Inspect products for quality and accuracy Identify inefficiencies, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and promote LEAN principles Allocate resources and materials efficiently, including managing inventory and raw materials. Set and enforce quality standards, monitor product quality, and implement quality control programs Collaborate effectively with the team. Train and mentor production personnel, including managing performance. Work closely with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes. Maintain accurate production records, track KPIs, and report progress to senior management. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Partner with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and keep equipment in top condition. Enforce health & safety regulations and conduct quality audits. Hiring, training, and mentoring production personnel, including managing performance. Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or a related field is preferred Previous experience in production management, often in supervisory roles. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities; familiarity with quality control, safety standards, and production technology Health and safety training, production/inventory management certifications are advantageous Experience with lean manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies In summary: An Assembly Floor Manager is both a production and people leader, ensuring that assembly operations run efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards while driving continuous improvement and team performance.
