  • literally. US Modular Systems, Inc. is a light gauge steel (LGS) manufacturing startup launching a 51,000+ SF industrial facility in Brookshire, TX. We design and manufacture steel framing systems
  • wall panels, floor cassettes, and modular components
  • for residential, healthcare, and commercial construction across Texas.
We have pre-committed revenue from Day 1, a clear roadmap to scale, and a leadership team with 40+ years of Texas real estate, construction, and capital markets experience. Production begins January 2027. We're hiring now. The Opportunity We're looking for a General Manager to lead the launch and daily operations of our Brookshire facility. This is a ground-floor leadership role
  • you'll build the team, establish production processes, and own operational results from the start.
The right candidate grows into VP of Operations as we expand to multiple Texas facilities. ???? On-site | Brookshire, TX ????

???? Path to VP of Operations What You'll Own Full P&L for manufacturing operations across four production lines: residential, healthcare, commercial, and industrial LGS systems Hire, train, and lead the production team
  • Production Manager, floor supervisors, and manufacturing staff
Own KPIs:
throughput, quality, on-time delivery, and COGS
  • weekly reporting to CEO Manage steel coil inventory, supplier relationships, and raw material procurement Commission LGS roll-forming equipment, CNC machines, and our
CUBE 300
automated framing system Lead Phase 2 robotics deployment
  • material handling, automated fastening, and AI-driven production scheduling Maintain OSHA compliance and a zero-incident safety culture
What We're Looking For:
? 5+ years in manufacturing operations management
  • steel, metal fabrication, modular construction, or related industry ?
Proven track record managing production teams of 10+ people ? Hands-on lean manufacturing experience ? Ability to read structural drawings, fabrication plans, and BIM/CAD files ? Experience managing supply chains and raw material inventory ? Comfortable on the factory floor AND in executive-level reporting
Bonus Points For:
Light gauge steel (LGS) or cold-formed steel (CFS) experience Familiarity with FrameCAD, Pinnacle, CUBE, or similar LGS software Experience commissioning a new manufacturing facility Robotics or automation deployment experience Healthcare or modular construction background Bilingual (English/Spanish) Degree in
Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or Construction Management Compensation & Benefits:
