Job Description

OPERATIONS MANAGER
- Manufacturing Our client is a large, growing industrial manufacturer with multiple locations. They are looking for an experienced Manufacturing / Operations Manager for their northeast Texas manufacturing operation. This position will report in to the Plant / General Manager, and direct the production / manufacturing related activities for this group: Safety Morale Schedule Attainment Budgets, Forecasts, Business Strategy Strategic / Business management of product line Continuous Improvement Scrap Reduction Operational Efficiency Kaizen / Lean / JIT Leadership, direction, and training Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree / MBA strongly preferred. Must have a minimum of 15 years current experience in industrial manufacturing (automotive preferred), and a minimum of 7 years current experience at a Manager's level, supervising salaried employees (Business Unit Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager). Must have a stable, progressive work history. Must have a strong working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, systems, and procedures. Must have strong people skills, leadership, and experience leading a culture change. Must have current industrial manufacturing experience. Salary in the $145~165k range, plus strong bonus. Full relocation package available. Full time permanent direct position with full benefits.
