Production Manager

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, hands on and driven Production Manager to join our Texas manufacturing team. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of multiple product lines, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining quality control standards. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally detail oriented and able to lead a diverse team, serving as liaison between plant workers and upper management. This person must be dedicated to achieving operational excellence, exhibit strong leadership, and effective communication, making you a key player in driving production excellence and meeting organizational goals. This is not an office position but a lead/working supervisor where 95% of this role will be on the factory floor working alongside the team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire production process, from planning to completion. Ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality standards. Manage production schedules and allocate resources effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes. Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving strategies. Implement safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment. Train and develop production staff. Analyz production data to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

5 or more years of production / manufacturing management experience required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proficiency in production planning and resource allocation. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards. Knowledge of warehouse operations, including fabricating, assembling, and using power tools, hand tools, and forklifts. Effective communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and vendors.
