Plant Manager - Build the Backbone of What We Deliver Role Overview As a Plant Manager, you will lead the heartbeat of our operation-overseeing end-to-end plant performance and ensuring we deliver on our promise of quality, efficiency, and reliability. This is more than a production leadership role. You will drive operational excellence, lead high-performing teams, and directly impact the success of our integrated building system. You'll work closely with executive leadership (RDO/DO) to align plant performance with business goals while continuously improving productivity, safety, and profitability. What You'll Own Operational Leadership Own and optimize all plant operations across production, scheduling, and shipping Ensure efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment to meet output goals Drive continuous improvement in workflow, throughput, and product quality T eam Leadership & Development Build, coach, and develop a high-performing production leadership team Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards Foster a culture of ownership, safety, and continuous improvement Production & Scheduling Excellence Develop and execute master production and shipping schedules Coordinate cross-functional activities across shifts and departments Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve flow and efficiency Financial & Performance Management Monitor plant performance against KPIs, budgets, and P&L targets Analyze output, yield, and scrap to maximize efficiency Drive cost control initiatives and support capital investment planning Quality, Safety & Compliance Champion quality standards and lead improvement initiatives Ensure full compliance with company policies, OSHA, and regulatory requirements Actively lead safety efforts and promote a zero-incident culture Inventory & Resource Optimization Oversee raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to meet inventory goals Ensure accurate production data and reporting systems Maintain yard organization and layout for optimal operational flow What You Bring Proven experience as a Production Manager or Plant Leader (2+ years minimum) Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, scheduling, and logistics Ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and influence performance Financial acumen with experience reviewing P&L and operational metrics Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Knowledge of shipping capacities, logistics, and material flow Forklift certification(or ability to obtain) Bonus if you have: Experience in building products, prefabrication, or construction manufacturing Familiarity with UFP systems, products, or culture Why This Role Matters This role sits at the center of
