You will be responsible for managing the production process, monitoring productivity, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, and supervising a team of workers. Your ultimate goal is to meet production targets, maintain product quality, and optimize operational efficiency. Medical Device experience is very much preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise and provide guidance to production staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance management. Foster a positive work environment, motivate team members, and promote teamwork and collaboration. Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for the team.Production Coordination:
Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource allocation. Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth operations and efficient utilization of resources. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, maintenance, and quality control, to coordinate workflow and resolve production-related issues.Quality Control:
Enforce and maintain quality standards and procedures throughout the production process. Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements. Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive measures as necessary.Safety and Compliance:
Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and providing training on safe work practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, and take prompt action to address any identified safety concerns.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor production output, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on production metrics. Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency. Prepare regular reports on production activities, including progress, issues, and recommendations for improvement.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience . Proven experience as a production supervisor or a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Medical Device Experience Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards. Proficiency in using production management software and tools. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Be a self-starter Understand KPI's, Lean Six Sigma, OEE Excellent problem solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required.Job Type:
