Job Description:
Plant Manager ???? Richmond, VA | ???? Manufacturing Industry | ???? Confidential Client Next Level Partners is leading a confidential retained search for a Plant Manager in the Richmond, VA area. This leader will take full ownership of plant production operations, driving performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost within a complex high-volume manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on operational leadership role focused on execution, accountability, culture, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on building strong frontline teams, creating operational discipline, and driving measurable plant performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all production/manufacturing operations for the facility
  • Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost metrics
  • Develop and coach frontline leadership and production teams
  • Create a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence
  • Improve throughput, efficiency, labor utilization, and operational stability
  • Partner cross-functionally with support functions including Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Maintenance
  • Champion Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives on the plant floor
  • Ensure strong daily management systems and execution rhythms are in place
Ideal Background:
  • Progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a Plant Manager or senior operations leadership role
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to lead through influence and accountability
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record improving operational performance and plant culture
  • Lean/Continuous Improvement experience is a must (Ideally experience with TPS and/or DBS related discipline)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred ?
