Job Description:
Project Manager IV (2655 - Manufacturing Materials Planning & Execution) •Must be willing to work on our W2• We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a contract opportunity supporting a manufacturing/service center environment in Richmond, VA . This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in project management, materials planning/execution, manufacturing operations, budgeting, scheduling, supply chain coordination, and cross-functional project leadership .

Additional Availability:
Must be open to additional hours, weekends, holidays, and possible weekend calls as needed Key Responsibilities Lead cross-functional project teams including design engineering, project engineering, supply chain, and workshop team members. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and delivery milestones. Drive on-time delivery while maintaining target margins and project financial accuracy. Track and forecast revenue and cost throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with supply chain representatives and vendors to ensure materials and services are delivered on time. Support planning, scheduling, procurement, execution, and budget management for assigned projects. Maintain strong communication with commercial stakeholders, solutions experts, workshop teams, and customers. Ensure safety and quality remain top priorities throughout project execution. Use sound judgment and prior experience to solve project challenges and recommend practical solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or relevant project management experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials planning/execution and/or project management . Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship. Must successfully complete background check and drug screening. Must be able to work 100% onsite in Richmond, VA. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree. PMP Certification. Project management experience in a manufacturing environment. Current or previous manufacturing experience. Experience reading blueprints, procedures, and specifications. Understanding of project planning and shop schedules. Experience with rotating power generation equipment, power plants, or complex technical projects. Budget management and basic financial knowledge. Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project. Ability to work with sales, engineering, supply chain, shop floor teams, and customers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership, influence, organization, and detail orientation.
