About Our Client My client is a well-established manufacturing partner supporting OEMs and product-based companies across multiple industries. With a large workforce and multiple facilities, they offer extensive in-house capabilities and play a critical role in delivering high-quality solutions to their clients. Job Description The Operations Manager will: Ensure product quality standards are achieved by implementing standardized processes, training employees, and addressing key performance issues identified through data analysis Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries regarding production status and work orders Partner with planning, sales, and operations teams to develop achievable production schedules that meet customer delivery expectations and drive continuous improvement in on-time delivery performance Promote and model a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and policies Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively addressing trends that could impact financial or operational targets Drive daily performance by comparing actual results to targets and empowering teams to solve problems in real time Foster a continuous improvement mindset by applying Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles across operations Maintain a visible presence on the production floor, encouraging hands-on problem-solving and employee engagement Lead change initiatives and build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and recognition Support workforce development through hiring, training, multi-skill development, and employee engagement initiatives Ensure clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization, including leadership and cross-functional teams Enforce standardized work practices and ensure compliance with safety protocols and 5S workplace organization standards Collaborate with engineering and continuous improvement teams to optimize processes and implement improvements Maintain equipment performance and uptime through effective coordination with maintenance teams Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry certifications, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements Oversee accurate and timely completion of production documentation and records Manage workforce scheduling, including overtime and vacation planning, to meet production needs MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
