Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior Manufacturing Managers (Level L) to lead parts of our 737 P-8 / 700 IGW Teams in Renton, Washington . A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines . Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives . Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements . Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports . Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processe s Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers . This position is expected to be 100% onsite. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturin g 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence chang e Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiative s 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring team s 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cos t 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environmen tShift:
