COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Pay Rate:
$85,000- $95,000 per year (DOE)
WORK LOCATIONS
- Tukwila
- Relocation assistance is available
SHIFT SCHEDULE
- Monday
- Friday (Saturdays as needed)
- 10:00 PM
- 7:00 AM
- 40-50 hours per week
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL MANAGE
The Rendering Process:
In this role, you oversee a sophisticated "dry rendering" process-an essential form of upcycling that converts organic materials into high-value proteins and fats.Raw Material Intake:
Coordinate the receiving of organic wasteThermal Processing:
Oversee high-temperature cooking and moisture evaporationMechanical Separation:
Utilize industrial centrifuges and presses to isolate productsEnvironmental Control:
Manage air scrubbing and wastewater systems for a zero-footprint facility- Lead the night-shift team to foster a culture of safety and precision
- Monitor and adjust cook times, temperatures, and pressures to maximize yield
- Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, FDA, and USDA regulations
- Support the maintenance of heavy-duty equipment, including screw conveyors, industrial cookers, and high-pressure boilers Working hours: 10:00 PM
- 7:00
AM Skills:
- Proven ability to manage teams and maintain high productivity during graveyard hours
- Skill in troubleshooting industrial machines like conveyors and cookers
- Experience handling raw material intake and production workflows
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
Non-Negotiable Qualifications:
- Direct experience in animal by-product, rendering, or organic recycling facilities
- Ability to interpret gauges and VFD outputs to troubleshoot production lines
- Proven history of managing safety standards and environmental permits
- Ability to navigate a multi-level industrial plant and lift up to 70 lbs Ready to lead a sustainable future?
