Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and strategic leader to serve as the Director of the Food Factory, overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, high-quality production. In this pivotal role, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize supply chain processes, and lead a dynamic team to meet production goals. Your expertise in manufacturing management, process optimization, and supply chain analytics will be essential in fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within our food production facility. Duties Lead and manage all manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met with high standards of quality and safety. Develop and implement production planning strategies utilizing ERP systems such as SAP to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Oversee supply chain management activities, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics coordination to ensure seamless material flow. Monitor plant performance through key metrics, conducting regular analysis with supply chain analytics tools to identify opportunities for optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development, quality control, and assembly processes to uphold product standards. Manage mechanical systems and plant infrastructure, ensuring maintenance schedules are followed and mechanical knowledge is applied effectively for troubleshooting. Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing or food processing environment. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is highly desirable. Expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement, and continuous improvement strategies. Solid understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and operations management principles. Demonstrated ability to lead plant management teams with excellent communication and leadership skills. Mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field; advanced management or operations certifications are a plus. Pay:
$51,996.62 - $80,000.00 per year
