Our client a well established manufacturinganization is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations across a multi-facility environment. This role is ideal for a strategic, people focused leader with strong manufacturing expertise- particularly in machining and Hydraulic Cylinder Manufacturing
- and a passion for building high performance teams.

Required:
You must have a minimum of 10 years' experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar Senior Operations leadership role
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience in a Senior Operations Plant Manager role
Position Summary:
The Plant Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial performance, to ensureplete reliability is achieved by fostering a culture of motivated,petent, and engaged employees to uphold world class operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion and cultivate a strong, positiveanizational culture.
Own all site performance metrics, including cost, quality, and delivery.
Manage the full operational budget and ensure alignment with financial targets.
Provide cost calculations and lead time information to support Sales.
Continuously report performance related to safety, quality, environment, delivery, and financial metrics.
Represent thepany in externalmunity relationships.
Lead and develop the local management team.
Coordinate master production planning activities.
Oversee internal and externalmunications for the site.
Execute operations in alignment with annual budgets and report progress to senior leadership.
Ensure workplace safety and regulatorypliance.
Communicate critical information effectively to employees and customers.
Lead, coach, and develop team members to strengthen capabilities.
Allocate necessary personnel and equipment to support quality management.
Ensure customer, management, and stakeholder expectations are met.
Supportpany wide improvement and development initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Utilize sitepetencies to aplish operational objectives.
Initiate and drive improvement actions in all areas of responsibility.
Make immediate decisions to prevent injuries or facility damage when required.
Approve expenses and manage personnel actions such as leave and overtime.
Enforce safety andpliance by restricting access when rules are not followed.
Oversee corrective actions and maintain adnce to financial authorization policies.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar Senior Operations leadership role.
Strong background in machining manufacturing; hydraulics, utilities (oil & gas), or automotive industry experience highly preferred.
6S Blackbelt or Greenbelt certification preferred.
Experience in a multinational environment is beneficial but not required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Deep knowledge of budgeting, financial management, cost control, and KPI analysis.
Proven track record of building, leading, and developing high performing teams.
Experience in supervisory or managerial roles.
Strong Englishmunication skills.
Solid understanding of logistics and management systems.
Technical aptitude, with basic knowledge of hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with key manufacturing methodologies, including:
Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Theory of Constraints, bottleneck management
KANBAN, takt time, lead time optimization
Root cause analysis tools (Fishbone, 5 Whys)
