Nucor Towers and Structures (NTS) is a new entity within Nucor, the largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products in North America, focused on the execution of our strategy to "Expand Beyond" our core business. As a part of Nucor's New Markets product group, NTS is focused on the exciting growth potential in the power distribution market.
Basic Job Functions:
This position is responsible for numerous production related duties and will work closely with the Production Supervisor(s) and Leads to ensure an organized and efficient flow of materials through the plant while meeting established daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals Job Duties Include but are not limited to: Input both internal and external customer orders and prepare associated production paperwork. Assist team with production order invoices. Prepare shipping documents post-production. Generate CoC's for customer orders prior to shipping. Support team with all inquiries to help answer customer questions regarding scheduling/availability. Maintains records and files, processes email, and answers the phone. Stay current on production schedule. Capture all paperwork for receiving consumables and any byproducts shipping out. Minimum Requirements Proven commitment to safety and quality standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Excel, Outlook, and Word. Maintain professionalism, open communication, and display behaviors that help develop the team. High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Developing specific goals and plans for prioritizing, organizing, and accomplishing individual work and/or the work of the team.
Preferred Qualifications:
