Role:
The Production Supervisor I plays a critical role in overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production output. This position is responsible for managing a team of production workers, coordinating workflow, and maintaining adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements. The supervisor will monitor production schedules, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity. They serve as a key liaison between management and production staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Ultimately, the role ensures that production goals are met on time while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Basic knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and safety standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team. Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work orders, and technical documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software. Proven track record of successfully leading teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production personnel to meet production targets and quality standards. Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety regulations. Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to promote skill development and adherence to company policies. Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain workflow continuity. Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and supply chain teams to support seamless production operations. Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on performance metrics and operational challenges. Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all team members. Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.

Effective communication skills are essential for providing clear instructions, feedback, and fostering a positive work environment. Additionally, proficiency with production management tools and continuous improvement techniques supports data-driven decision-making and process optimization. Monday- Thursday 5:00am-3:45pm
