Quality Supervisor

Position Summary:

Belleville Boot Company has an immediate opportunity for a Quality Supervisor at our DeWitt, Arkansas location to join our team. The Quality Supervisor reports directly to and will work cooperatively with the Director of Quality in maintaining the quality management system. This position would be based in DeWitt, AR with frequent travel to Forrest City, AR.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following: Maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc. Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of the product return process Conduct ISO audits as required Preparation of QA reports Assist with analysing failures, corrective and preventive actions to respond to customer issues Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products is in accordance with approved data Support inspections to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Prior supervision experience Periodic travel is required Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes and plant organizations Proficiency interacting with computer, including Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communications skills Knowledge of boot making helpful Ability to Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with all levels Familiarity with continual improvement activities, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc. is a plus Military background and/or prior military service is a plus
