Job Description

Schedules all direct labor personnel on daily work activities ensuring optimal utilization of skills and man hours to meet timely production and quality standards. Trains employees and completes training records. Ensures employees are complying with manufacturing process documentation. Maintains schedule adherence and works with management on proper staffing levels to meet schedules.
Leads high-performing team:
interviewing, hiring, training, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Maintains proper quality standards on all products being produced on shift. Distributes supplies, takes inventory, and initiates reorder as needed. Advises operations management of process improvement ideas, production issues, maintenance items, safety matters, and other information. Follows acceptable employee relation practices and company policies. Ensures employees maintain and practice proper safety requirements including good housekeeping and wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE). All other duties assigned.
