Caterpillar is seeking a dynamic Off Shift Senior Operations Manager to lead large-scale manufacturing operations in North Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of a large manufacturing facility or multiple production areas, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution across all shifts. You will drive performance through operational leadership, talent development, and continuous improvement while aligning production outcomes with business objectives. What you can look forward to in this role: Lead and manage multi-shift manufacturing operations within a large-scale production environment Develop, coach, and empower operations leaders and production teams to achieve high performance Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) performance metrics across the facility Ensure operational execution meets production schedules and performance targets while optimizing resources Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and process optimization Establish and enforce compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards Drive operational excellence strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity Partner cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and quality teams Champion a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:
Effective Communications:
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Planning and Organizing:
Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Performance Management:
Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.
Influencing:
Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization. Top Candidates for this position may also have: Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies Background in heavy manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or industrial operations Experience leading large teams, including leaders of leaders Exposure to multi-site manufacturing environments Familiarity with automation, digital manufacturing, or advanced production systems Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Additional Information:
The primary location for this position is North Little Rock, AR. This position will be off shift Monday-Friday Domestic relocation assistance is not available Sponsorship is not available
Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
