This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a production manager with deep expertise in steel surface treatment who thrives in hands-on environments and takes pride in delivering exceptional quality, safety, and efficiency across bodywork, painting, and related finishing processes.

What You'll Do Lead, develop, and manage surface treatment teams across bodywork, painting, and related operations Promote and enforce a safety-first culture, escalating violations when necessary Ensure strict compliance with quality standards while reducing internal defects Meet production volume goals and delivery deadlines with flexibility and precision Improve productivity, reduce downtime, and optimize labor and equipment utilization Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and workflow efficiency Optimize logistics processes and minimize in-process inventory Train, schedule, and manage employee performance and leave Monitor and reduce unnecessary energy consumption Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency What You Bring Four-year degree in manufacturing operations or a related field strongly preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience managing production teams and production planning Required hands-on experience in steel surface treatment, including sandblasting, metallization, painting, or related processes Automotive and/or heavy industrial manufacturing experience required Strong working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices Proven experience hiring key production roles and mentoring teams Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience using ERP systems, production operations, or inventory management software Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a cross-functional, cross-cultural environment Ready to Lead Surface Treatment Excellence?
