• The Painter is responsible for overseeing the preparation, coating, and finishing of structural steel components. This role ensures that all painting projects are completed with high quality, on schedule, and in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Functional Accountabilities Quality Assurance
• Ensure all painted steel components meet quality standards and client specifications. Problem Solving and Decision Making
• Implementing 2-Second Lean Dedicate time for ongoing process improvements. Encourage regular reflection on operations to eliminate waste and increase efficiency. Identify and resolve issues promptly to maintain workflow. Inventory Management
• Manage inventory of paints, coatings, and related materials. Team Leadership and Development
• Provide leadership and direction to the painting team. Ensure each team member has monthly, scheduled 1:1 meeting with the manager. Identify skills and development are on or off track. Create written plan with talent Development. Observe and follow-up. Communication and Coordination
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination within the team and with other departments.
