$48•$55 per hour Job Details•We are seeking a hands-on Machine Shop Supervisor with strong expertise in CNC milling and turning operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to perform complex setups, edit programs directly at the machine, and lead a team of machinists in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires a technical leader who can drive performance, ensure quality standards, and mentor team members to maximize efficiency and output. 1st shift $45-55 per hour 4/10 6am to 430pm or M-F 7am-330pm
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a team of 10 programmers, machinists, operators Oversee daily machine shop operations, ensuring efficient CNC milling and turning production aligned with schedule and quality requirements. Perform and support complex CNC setups and program edits, providing hands-on technical guidance directly at the machine to maintain productivity and accuracy. Lead and develop machining personnel, including training, coaching, and supervising machinists to improve performance, consistency, and adherence to safety standards. Monitor production flow and job status, ensuring timely completion while coordinating with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow efficiency. Inspect and validate parts for compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Manage tooling, equipment performance, and material usage, minimizing downtime and waste through proactive tracking and problem-solving. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills across diverse teams 7+ years of CNC machining experience within a manufacturing environment 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a machine shop setting Hands-on expertise with CNC mills and lathes, including setup, troubleshooting, and production support Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications Experienced with CNC program edits and adjustments at the machine level Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop machinists in a production environment Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and fabrication methods A bit about us:•Leading Aerospace Manufacturer | Machine Shop Supervisor Opportunity!
