Job Responsibilities Responsible for the daily/weekly production schedule Establishes formal and informal communications for staff and employees Develops self, staff, and employees for advancement and contribution to the success of the business Ensures proper staffing of operations resources Responsible for plant layout, ensuring optimal safety and efficiency Ensures safety committee is actively engaged in promoting awareness for safety programs/initiatives Manages the corrective action/progressive disciplinary process for all operation techs Operation of production equipment, forklifts and overhead cranes as needed Job Requirements Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years leadership experience in an industrial environment leading multiple departments Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and allocate resources Proficient with Microsoft Office Strong written and oral communication skills across all levels of the organization Thorough knowledge of effective and efficient production and manufacturing methods Compensation The hourly pay rate is $32-$35/hr.
