Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

Supervise the corrugated department under the Plant Manager to achieve objectives in safety, productivity, quality, cost control, employee satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance to staff, ensure a safe work environment, oversee shift operations, verify product quality, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a professional, safety-focused, and quality-driven work environment. Monitor safety efforts, conduct audits, and investigate incidents. Direct department activities in line with plant objectives. Ensure adherence to quality control processes and ISO standards. Manage production records, delivery schedules, and operating issues. Track performance against targets and identify improvement opportunities. Manage internal customer/supplier relations and assigned projects. Train, develop, and manage department personnel, staffing, and performance appraisals. Control production costs and advise on capital improvements. Coordinate equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensure parts availability. Utilize production software for job costing, PDE, and inventory. Maintain PONC record at ≤0.10% of manufactured sales. Alternate work hours for training or operational needs.

Qualifications:

Corrugated experience required. Bachelor's degree with 4 years of supervisory experience preferred, or 5 years in manufacturing with supervision. Proven success managing multi-department production teams. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of high-volume manufacturing; flexo printing and die-cut converting helpful. Skilled in problem-solving, MS Office, ERP/MRP systems, lean principles, and project management software. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills; able to manage multiple priorities. Bilingual English/Spanish required

Pay:
